Conor Schneider
Attorney
Conor Schneider is an Associate Attorney specializing in business, investor, entrepreneur, student, and family-based immigration matters. He joined Serotte Law Firm in 2022 as a Law Clerk, was admitted to practice law in New York in 2023, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Conor works with a wide range of clients, including corporations, individual startup founders, and international students, focusing on crafting tailored immigrant pathways, such as EB-1A (Extraordinary Ability), EB-1B (Outstanding Professor/Researcher), and EB-2 National Interest Waivers (NIW). He also handles various nonimmigrant classifications, such as O-1A, O-1B, H-1B, L-1A, TN, F-1 STEM OPT Extensions, E-1, and E-2 visas.
Prior to joining Serotte Law Firm, Conor was a Law Clerk at Greco Trapp, PLLC, where he researched complex legal issues impacting local municipalities. His early career also included clerkships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York and the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
Conor earned his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Buffalo Law Review and as a Class Director of the Student Bar Association. During law school, he represented indigent clients at administrative hearings as a Student Attorney with the University at Buffalo School of Law Community Engagement Legal Clinic. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where he held positions with the U.S. House of Representatives, the American Bar Association, and the U.K. House of Commons.
A passionate historian, Conor enjoys researching the history of Buffalo and the surrounding Western New York region. He is actively involved in public service, serving as Fire Commissioner and Vice Chairman of the Aurora Colden Fire District No. 6. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and meticulous hands-on projects, including his current effort to restore a historic 1917 train depot built by the Buffalo, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Railway Co.
