Ashley Walker
Paralegal
Ashley joined Serotte Law Firm in June 2022 after graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Sociomedical Sciences, a program grounded in the holistic study of human diversity and medical anthropology. Drawing on this background, she brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every matter she handles. This training helps her communicate effectively across cultures, appreciate the broader context behind each case, and advocate with empathy as well as precision. She brings this blend of analytical and interpersonal skills to her practice every day.
At Serotte Law Firm, Ashley concentrates her practice on employment-based and family-based U.S. immigration, guiding clients through both nonimmigrant and immigrant processes with care and precision. She works closely with individuals, families, employers, and professionals to understand their priorities and chart clear, practical paths forward.
Her experience includes managing a wide array of case types, including H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, L-1A, L-1B, EB-1, PERM-based I-140, I-130, Adjustment of Status, Removal of Conditions, and consular visa processing. She is committed to making complex procedures feel organized and approachable, keeping clients informed at each step of their immigration journey.
In every matter, Ashley takes time to learn each client’s story, goals, and concerns so she can tailor strategies to their specific needs. She values clear communication and strives to ensure that clients understand not just what is happening in their case, but why each step matters.
Colleagues and clients alike appreciate her calm, detail-oriented style and her dedication to timely, well-prepared filings. Whether she is helping an employer secure work authorization for key talent or a family pursue permanent residence, she aims to be a steady, supportive presence throughout the process.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors, often accompanied by her beloved dog, Sasha. In the warmer months, she can be found in her garden, on local hiking trails, or on the golf course.
When the weather turns colder, Ashley likes to bake, read, and snowboard, and she happily admits to spending “too much” time at the gym. She also enjoys supporting the local arts scene by catching performances from her favorite Western New York bands.
